Why this work
matters to me.
At Hope & Prosperity, we are deeply committed to supporting
the most vulnerable in society, especially children, both in
Bangladesh and around the world.
As well as running our orphanage in Bangladesh, over the years
we have also built homes for people experiencing homelessness,
provided aid during natural disasters and distributed regular
Ramadan ration packs to those in need. Through partnerships
with other charities, we have extended our reach by providing
international aid during times of war and natural disaster in
countries including Pakistan, Syria, Palestine, Yemen and Turkey.
My personal life experiences and frequent visits to Bangladesh
have shown me the urgency of this work. As a parent myself, I am
especially passionate about helping orphaned and vulnerable
children. Every child deserves the same opportunities and life
chances that we wish for our own children.
My visits to my hometown of Moulvibazar in Bangladesh have been
eye-opening. I have witnessed firsthand the daily struggles and
sacrifices these children endure. These experiences inspired me
to establish an orphanage that could provide them with the care,
safety and opportunities they deserve.
We are grateful for the overwhelming encouragement and
contributions from businesses, community leaders and individuals
who have joined us on this journey. The local community in
Bangladesh, where our work is focused, is eager to see this
project succeed and is inspired by the impact we are making.
